5 Minutes a Day
As a church, we are spending the next year reading through the entire New Testament in just 5 minutes a day. Over the next year, we will read through all 260 chapters of the New Testament, one chapter a day. The Gospels are read throughout the year to weave in the story of Christ all year long.
5 Days a week
Determine a time and location to spend 5 minutes a day for 5 days a week. It is best to have a consistent time and a quiet place where you can regularly meet with the Lord.
5 Ways to dig deeper
Pause in your reading each day to dig into the Bible. Below are 5 ways to help you dig deeper. Spend some time reflecting on these questions and what God is teaching you. Remember to keep a pen and paper handy to capture God’s insights. 1) What do I learn about Jesus? Who He is? What did He do? What did He teach? 2) How does this chapter teach me to live? 3) What’s the big point God wants me to know? 4) Is there anything the Lord is trying to say to me? 5) PRAY about it.
